Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit Azerbaijan late this month, Russian newspaper Izvestiya reported, citing Yuri Ushakov, Aide to the Russian President for International Affairs.

On September 27-28, the Russian president will participate in a session of the CIS Council of Heads of State that will take place in the Tajik capital, Dushanbe.

In October, Vladimir Putin will pay a visit to Uzbekistan.

Russia will also host a trilateral summit with Azerbaijan and Iran before the end of this year, Ushakov said.
