US President Barack Obama has launched a long awaited week-long Africa tour in Senegal.
Obama stepped off Air Force One with his wife Michelle, and daughters Sasha and Malia on Wednesday evening, and is due to hold talks on Thursday with President Macky Sall to highlight Senegal's solidified democracy.
He will also visit South Africa and Tanzania to talk about developments. The trip, however, is not without controversy.
