Baku, 31 December 2017 – Newtimes.az

Dear friends,

We extend our sincere congratulations to you on the occasion of December 31 – Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis, which has become a symbol of the Azerbaijani people, and the upcoming New Year.

The idea of unity of world Azerbaijanis is one of the greatest contributions made by national leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev to our national statehood history. It was on the initiative of the national leader that the Supreme Assembly of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic decreed, back on December 16 1991, designation of December 31 as the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis. By this historical decision Heydar Aliyev elevated our people`s unity and solidarity idea to the state level, and his Azerbaijanism ideology ensured our fellow countrymen`s coming together around a single national thought.

The development and prosperity of Azerbaijan is what each of us dreams of. Thanks to the successful internal and foreign policy pursued by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr Ilham Aliyev, it has become a dream come true for millions of Azerbaijanis. This is evidenced by landmark accomplishments made by Azerbaijan in all areas in 2017. We do believe that Azerbaijan will maintain this growth rate in the years to come, and our national unity will become even stronger.

Dear friends,

On the occasion of December 31 – Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis and the upcoming New Year, we convey our best wishes for good health, continued success to each of you and for well-being and prosperity to our people.
