Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan stated that the status quo in Karabakh was maintained as long as it was beneficial to Russia, and then Armenia could not 'pay,' the Armenian telegram channels write, distributing an audio recording of the Armenian prime minister's speech.
'The status quo in Karabakh was maintained as long as it was in the interests of Russia. When the market conditions changed, everything changed. And when the time came for us to pay with something, it turned out that we either did not want or could not pay. Or we have nothing to pay because we are bankrupt.
It may be wrong to say that, but I think we are in such a state that it is worth saying it to each other,' Nikol Pashinyan said on April 8 at a closed meeting with Moscow lawyers of Armenian origin.
'Pashinyan said bluntly that he surrendered Karabakh in the interests of Russia. On the same recording, the prime minister of Armenia openly declares that it is necessary to unblock all communications with Azerbaijan and Turkey, open the borders,' writes the ArmVoice telegram channel.
