Turkey didn’t invite Russian Air Force to the Incirlik airbase, said Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, TRT Haber news channel reported July 4.

Cavusoglu said that Turkish media wrongly interpreted his words.

The foreign minister also noted that Turkey cooperates with all countries of the coalition against the "Islamic State” (IS, aka ISIS, ISIL or Daesh) terrorist organization.

Ankara is also ready to cooperate with Russia in fight against terrorism, he added.

Earlier, Turkish media reported that Turkey’s Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said Turkey invited Russian Air Force to the Incirlik airbase.
