Armenian opposition leader Nikol Pashinyan said holding a fair and transparent parliamentary election would be his first political step in case he is elected as Prime Minister, TASS reports.
The politician made the statement April 30 in Parliament.
"The first thing we should do is to hold fair and transparent elections as soon as possible," Pashinyan said.
He noted that in case of his premiership in Armenia, corruption will be eradicated and there will be rule of law.
"It is very early to talk about the composition of the new government. I am only a candidate for Prime Minister, we will talk about other issues after my election," Pashinyan said.
